Calculate a shipment's CO₂e in a minute, and see exactly how

What you get

An API key and the web calculator, routing road, rail, inland waterway and sea worldwide on OpenStreetMap and a maritime network, with ISO 14083 style reports. Each user may calculate 100000 shipments a day at up to 50 requests a second, so that everyone gets a fair share.

Without signing in: single shipments and files of up to 100 shipments, 2000 shipments a day.

AI assistants: add https://sootcase.org/mcp as a remote MCP server (in Claude, a custom connector) to calculate from a chat. The assistant sees every step of the calculation and its sources. Without an API key the same limits apply per connection; with one, send it as Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Results are calculations following GLEC v3.2 and ISO 14083, not certified figures. Emission factors: UK DESNZ 2026, EU MRV 2024 container ships, the Dutch inland waterway list. There's no uptime guarantee.
